Default Bluray Miscellaneous questions

I was wondering where to find things like how much a Bd-50 vs. a Bd-25 costs. Also, how does the audio things work? Does a studio submit their master to Dolby or DTS and then they do what they do or does the studio do it in their own mixing station? I also need to be able to source this information. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you need to be more precice, are you interested on releasing something on BD or is it something else?

For example

do you mean the difference in replication cost or purchasing, if the second one then there is none. Movies are not priced depending on what disk is used. You can have BD-50s that are cheaper then BD-25s. If you mean replication then BD-50 are a bit more expensive, the best idea would be to look around at replicators (google Blu ray replication) but from the few I have seen it ranges from a bit over 1$ to a bit under.

Dolby/ DTS make the tools used by the product manufacturers they don't do the work themselves.

Thanks. About the disc used, I was more aiming to figure out replication costs. Costs to the studio. School report.
