Default Help with setting up system in apartment

I own a Panasonic viera 50" 1080p and have a ps3 hooked up to it. I live in an apartment so running wires through the walls is obviously a no go. I can't stand haveing wires showing so that is obviously not an option to having wires running all over the place.

I was thinking of getting an onkyo receiver and get some wireless speakers. Are wireless speakers any good and if so what brand. I would be willing to put some small holes in the walls to mount the speakers.

I don't know much if anything about an audio system. I have never heard the sound difference of blu and would appreciate any help from you experts. TIA

when I used to live in apartment, i had that same issue, what you will want to do is either get a rug like suggested or run the wire along the baseboards and just ever so slightly pull back the carpet and tuck the wire underneath the carpet so you cant see it, if you pull too far use a hammer to tack the carpet back to the tackboard, that is what I did and it worked great, was out of site and easy to do.

Check out my Home Theater Pics. Maybe you can get some ideas from how mine is setup. And for the rear speaker wires I pulled back the carpet along the edges, ran the wire, and then pushed the carpet back down.
