Legendary - Game Guide (may contain spoilers)

Summary: The game starts out as you as a merc who has been hired to steal Pandora's box. *Personally that just sounds like a terrible idea* In a blotched robbery attempt you are marked by the box and by opening it you unleash the ancient monsters from the box.

The mark named the signet allows you to draw power from clouds of energy left by dead monsters, you make your escape out of the museum to find the city flooded with griffon's... What have you done....

You fight your way through fire drakes and warewolfs where you meet of with your contact with the company that hired you the black order.

You discover that you and your contact have been say had your employment terminated as black order troops surround and attempt to kill you, your new friend through made a bargain with a third party and you find yourself going from the frying pan to the oven.

Can you stop the black order, can you reseal the creatures back into Pandora's Box.

Creatures:

Bloodspiders - Annoying insects that swarf you and explode... they are produced by sacs knowns as the Queen blowing up the Queen sends a large force of bloodspiders after you...

Firedrakes - Immune to fire, they roll up to move quickly and come from pits of lava, 2 whacks from your fire axe should put this creature out of commision but if you do not seal the lava pit another will always replace the last. To seal a lava pit find a way to get a water source to pour over the lava pit.

Also firedrakes are killed by exposure to water...

Griffon's -While you may feel the need to empty your hand gun bullets on these mythical creatures don't bother pistols do not do much damage to this critters a shotgun or assault rifle is a solution through a rocket launcher is the best solution being a one shot kill on the Griffon.

Warewolf - These creatures have the ability to heal after a death dealing blow, to finish this creatures off, you need to remove the head which is the only way to kill them for good.

Beware warewolfs will throw objects at you, climb and flank you need to watch all sides when going against warewolfs.

There is another breed of warewolfs where are alpha males/females you can tell the difference by the mane around there head.

Tentacles - These are the most annoying enemy you deal with, when you they are around always walk with your face towards the water, if these things pull you under your dead instantly you got shoot them at least once to pull off there grip. The tentacles can also come out of pipes, holes of any nature, so keep a eye out everywhere, in the sewers you are not safe.

This is not a full list of enemies.

Weapons: (arranged by appearance)

Fireaxe - your first weapon able to remove obstacles and does pretty good damage 2 to 3 swings kills a firedrake.

Pistol - Your second weapon as much as you might want dont bother shooting the griffon's this gun wont hurt them. Does less damage then the fireaxe but it lets you keep your opponents at a range.

SMG - Your third weapon you will find does better damage but lacks alot of punch.

Assault Rifle - Much more powerful includes a scope shoots in a 3 bullet burst can one shot enemy infantry with one squeeze. Good power, and Good range.

Shotgun - Powerful but the reloads are dangerous, to me not as powerful as the assault rifle through a nice back up gun.

*big machine gun* - This gun has 200 round clips offers alot of stopping power letting you mow your enemies down. Killer reload time with the drum...

FlameThrower - good at wiping swarms but not that effective of a weapon in my opinion lacks range.

Rocket Launcher - Kills griffon in one shot has the ability to home but the home can be broken by the griffon dodging near a building. Very powerful low ammo.

Misc. Weapons:

Montolov Cocktails - This is a nice make shift weapon that explodes in front of you do not use near a small space you might catch yourself on fire.

Grenades - Hit the grenade button once to throw and hit again for them to explode, they have remote detonators on them.

Abilities: Signet

You can use your Signet to heal yourself using energy collected from creatures or take a small amount and stun/repulse enemies.

Things of note:

Your character cannot jump very high, through he can jump far by performing a running jump.

Your character cannot vault so keep that in mind...

L3 is your friend it will place a marker on your screen to the next wave point, it will vanish after awhile but this helps you figure out where your going.

I suggest tweaking the controller sensitivity by default the controller is to sensitive to me personally and should be taken down several notches.

When you have the assault rifle and are facing against human opponents the scope can bey extremely deadly just take cover and you will be one shotting them.
