ps3 and SACDs

I know this was posted before somewhere but I couldn't find it, my friend just purchased the 80gb ps3, is it true they dont play SACDs if so which does thanks

Yes. The 80gb will play SACD's. The 40gb will not.

Edit: Best to play over HDMI (for multichannel audio).

No it will not, the new 80gigs dont have that feature anymore.

OP you need to look for the mgs4 pack, thats the old 80gig model which also plays ps2 games and has 4 USB ports. plus it has the cards slots. EDIT- this one http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Me...6888264&sr=8-1
