Flash drive help v.osx - Blu-ray Forum

ok guiz, i've noticed my flash drive is super slow all of a sudden when i'm using my ibook. but its nice and speedy on the ps3. what gives. i haven't had this problem before.

also..my other flash drive takes over a minute before it even shows up on the ps3/computer whatever i plug it into. is it dying? shouldn't it just like..be dead or not dead? why would it be so slow

Did you try format it at some point?

Almost works like a harddrive, if you just erase / uninstall stuff off it, it will eventually get slow. Try format it again and see if that helps.

Not sure though why it is fast in the PS3, but slow on the computer...

oh..duh. i didn't even think about formatting it and see if that helps. thanks..i'm on my way to bed as we speak..but i'll try it and see if that works. thanks for the help
