Hi guys
I have an HD ready (up to 720) LCD tv and want to know what the best option is for watching DVD's.. At the moment I'm using a Playstaion 2 plugged into the AV scart socket (theres an RGB one too but i dont know if thats any better) and watching Blade runner 'the final cut' for example looks pretty damn good, theres some pixelation in places but on the whole it looks great.. So i'm curious to know what the Blu ray version looks like...obviously i'd need to buy a player and discs which is going to cost some....on the other hand I could get a dedicated dvd player with upscaling ,so do i need one that upscales to 720 or 1080 ? Also how does an upscaled dvd compare to blu ray ? Any comments appreciated ! |
