What are your predictions for the NCAA football bowls ? - Blu-ray Forum

What are your predictions for the NCAA football bowls ? Will they all play on ABC,NBC, FOX like they used to or they are gonna play on other channels as well ? I think the Ohio State Buckeyes will go all the way. Are the Florida Gators doing good ? My Notre Dame Fighting Irish are doing poorly this season. What a dissapointment!

ND does poorly every year... name the last two bowls they won

They've been steamrolling EVERYBODY.

The one point loss to Mississippi has been a wake up call. Their defense is air tight, and the offense?? ...well, lets just say Teebow gets taken out of games after the third quarter and still a Heisman candidate.

my predictions?

florida beats alabama in the SEC title game, gets to the championship game against Texas Tech (must say is a great team)...Florida's defense shuts them down for a blowout 52-13 romp.

this list shows the channels from last year...i guess TNT/TBS were not one of them.

also, include NFL Network.

FOX will have all the BCS bowls except the Rose Bowl which will be on ABC as usual. Who'd pass up a chance to put on USC? Also, I agree that Florida will beat 'Bama in the SEC championship game, but Texas is still ranked higher and right now would jump 'Bama in a loss which could put UT in the championship game without even winning their division! That's crazy and it's not unprecedented...2-loss LSU won the national championship last year and lost to Arkansas in either the SEC championship or to win their division.
EDIT: Even though UT could be in that game, and saying this as a UT fan, I honestly think that Florida is the best team in the nation right now. I think they would destroy Tech and I would be excited to see a Florida/ USC championship game.

Don't forget that the same thing happened in 2003 when Oklahoma lost to Kansas State in the Big XII title game but still managed to sneak into the Natl. Champ. game -- only to lose to LSU.

Just like you say - Florida SHOULD be there. Florida vs. Texas Tech would be a much better game than Florida vs. USC but that's moot because I think that Penn State would have had to lose yesterday as the first step for USC to creep up in the BCS standings.

I don't know man....I think with two explosive offenses like that behind two first-class caliber QBs like Tebow and Harrell....looks like more of a barn burner to me. The last team to score wins - Florida 47 Tech 41

Some nice pictures of them would be appreciated . I like the Florida Gators, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Michigan Wolverines cheerleaders.

I hope not, can't stand the Luckeyes! They have a chance at the Rose Bowl, if Penn State loses to Michigan State this weekend. If they do make it, they will just get smoked like usual.

My prediction is Alabama vs Texas Tech, with Alabama winning. I think Bama will barely hold of Florida to get there. Florida vs Texas Tech is another intersting matchup and very possible.

Well, none of the bowls have been selected yet, but they should go to a BCS bowl, maybe Sugar Bowl but Orange Bowl most likely. But if Penn State loses to Michigan State, OSU will most likely replace them in the Rose Bowl.

I appreciate your opinion, but there is just no way. I'm a huge Ole Miss fan. Bama barely got past us...in Tuscaloosa. And MSU stayed with them for the first half, but Bama would have inevitably won anyway because State is awful. But if they can't best MSU for one half of a game, there is no way in hell they can withstand that Florida offense. Bama QB John Parker Wilson is too inconsistent (even though he is talented) and it could be argued that special teams saved them last night. Us beating Florida was the best thing that ever happened to that team. They have simply steamrolled everyone since. Florida takes the SEC this year. Just my opinion.
