2k ncaa football 08 demo?

Will there be a demo on the playstation store for this game? What store is the best to order from? What is the earliest that it would be available?

Xbox LIVE already got theirs and I'm told already how silky smooth it is thanks to the 60 fps.

I'm really still annoyed that the PS3 versions of all of these football games from both 2k and EA are going to be stuck at 30 while 360 gets 60fps across the boards.

Answer to your question: Hopefully a PS3 demo comes up real soon.

I usually order games from Gogamer.com or even Amazon otherwise I just put $5 down at either EB or Gamestop.

I hear ya loud and clear. To me this is unacceptable period. I wont be getting and titles from EA until they get with the program. I have a 360 but I think the games should be equal to deliberately undercut a platform that is more than capable just because you are too lazy as a developer to get it right is GHEY!

Agreed. Unfortunately, this problem isn't confined to just EA.

The game will be amazing, even at 30fps. People need to relax about that whole 30/60 thing. Is it perfect? No. You have to balance it against what's best for the overall though and EA is committed to a July 17 launch date. Would you rather have a bad looking game at 60fps or a great game at 30fps? I sincerely doubt that next year you will have to even worry about it.

I am an NCAA fan, I have every NCAA since 1999, this will not be an exception for me. Quite simply, even at 30fps, no one does it better than EA.

Indeed. I'm certain the end result will still be amazing. I'm just annoyed that the PS3 versions of ANY game, for that matter, would be shortchanged at all vs. versions on other platforms.

Not trying to make a federal case out of it or anything.

I hope the demo for the PS3 version comes out ASAP, because the sad thing is: I'll play the hell out of that, too, until the full game gets here.

If you can afford to have both systems, then why not? Sure.

If I weren't into PC gaming, I'd have a 360 alongside my PS3 right now.

I saw at Overstock, they have a refurbished 20 GB xbox 360 for $305. I thought about getting one, but I don't think I could convince my wife, after getting a PS3, and Wii. That's a really good price, of course it's refurbished though, might be worth a look. And with M$ upping it's warranty to 3 years (I think), should be more of a safe purchase. If you like some of the games on the 360 and can afford the system, do it.
