I haven't heard a thing about the euro ps3 sales. What I do know is that the console is selling out fairly quickly. I haven't heard about a shortage.

Default record sales for PS3 Europe launch

Record breaking sales in UK (which I recall is the biggest video game market by country in Europe?).

Oh no, over twice as many as North America and Japan at launch. What a complete disaster!

Especially funny considering how 160K from UK is amazing, and 400K or so from Europe is somehow terrible, and nobody is buying them.

600k, ey? Quite good (at least above 50%)

Mind if I ask though:
Is that figure EU-exclusive only or does it include other PAL areas (Israel, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, etc.)?

Now the only thing left is to figure out how to sell the remaining 400k units until the end of this month (only a few more days really).

theres nothin but good news for ps3 and bd. 100000 copies of casino royale shipped, leading in si sales 100:89 or so in north america, 90% dominance in japan an expected 100% in oz, selling better in europe thanx to ps3. also ps3 selling better than 360 compared to how 360 sold when it launched, setting records in europe etc.

I have no idea, but I would imagine it is just Europe.

France sold 78,000 ps3's in two days. Thats roughly 80% of their stock they recieved from Sony. Yep.. France. the same country were if you believe the FUD had no lines at launch and was a complete failure.
gotta love the spin....it stinks of desperation!
