there was a lot more hype surrounding dark knight than there ever was when iron man was released. Iron man was a huge hit after it hit the movies and reviews came out.....dark knight had already hit legendary status before it was ever released

Yeah but the fact remains 30% of sales is still a fairly mainstream margine. The Dark Knight will only help to enlargen that margin.

I really think it will sell over a million. Not only is this one of the most hyped movies ever but think of all the sales boost it will get by releasing a few weeks before Christmas. Most will buy it for themselves and then others will buy it for Christmas gifts. This Blu-ray is gonna be fantastic and the numbers should be staggering when released. I too think a movie like this could be THE ONE to start the push of Blu-ray going mainstream and on its way to the top of the mountain! Others along the way have helped out big time such as Iron Man but Dark Knight should double even its numbers sold in first week.
