Looking to buy a new center speaker

I have a 1200 watt JVC surround sound system in a box. I don't have the money to upgrade everything, and the front, surround, and sub speakers sound great. The center, on the other hand, is lacking. What would be a good choice of center speaker to upgrade to get the best sound? I'm looking to spend around 200, less if possible.

As a general rule, the three front speakers should be from the same manufacturer for proper timbre matching. Ideally, the three speakers should be identical. If that is not possible, the next best solution is the same line from the same manufacturer.

You will need a whole new system if you want to upgrade the sub or any of the speakers.

I found this out the hard way. I went through 3 center speakers, ended up matching the Energy C-Series(C-C100 center with C-500 fronts) and now happy as a pig in you know what haha.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps I'll just start saving up for an entire new surround system. I could always sell mine for 200 locally, which would be a start. Guess I have a new project!
