As much as I'd love to see this on Blu, I don't think posting here will force the production company to release it any sooner. You might want to try an i-petition and post a link to that here. Personally I'd rather wait and let Ridley Scott take control of getting this done proper.

I'm sure when Dreamworks starts releasing its catalog titles in any kind of earnest, this one will at the front of the line.

I'd love to see this. In it's extended version w/ DTS-MA, please. This is my all-time favorite movie. I also hope they include all the special features!

Since Dreamworks have released all their titles with a Dolby TrueHD track (and a couple with PCM I think), chances are that Gladiator won't have a DTS-MA track. Which is just fine for me. 48khz/24bits TrueHD tracks sounds as good as any of the best DTS-MA tracks if they're well mixed.

Soorrryy!!! for that mistake!!! Forgive me teacher! English is not even my 3rd language. I'll assume that you can type perfectly in italian, portuguese and spanish, besides english right?

EDITED: I've realized that probably you weren't referring to my post but to the post made by the thread starter.
If that is the case, excuse me for my improper come back.
However this is a place visited by many people whose 1st language is not english. Some of them are affraid to share their comments because their english may not be "perfect".
Post like yours might discourage them even more.
It's good to correct mistakes. Most people appreciates when somebody corrects them in a polite way but when it's done with sarcasm (), then it's not welcome.

cheers.

Correct, I was directing my comments at the OP.

And just so you know that I'm not a complete a$$, I check the location of the offender before I make a smart-a$$ comment like above. Since he was from FL (US), it was fair game. I can usually tell when someone does not have English as their first language, and would never rip on them. Heck, I applaud those those around here who are able to communicate in a language not their own (a lot of non-US folks around here have a better grasp of the English language than a great number of the US folks). I travel to Central America on business all of the time, and I feel like a complete dolt for not being able to at least speak Spanglish. I'm in the process of changing that, though.

It will come and it should give with a bang. Ridley did nice job with Blade Runner I'd hope he'd do something along the same lines with Gladiator but we can only hope.

I call a 2010 10 year anniversery edition. I can't believe it's been 10 years.
