PS3 movie definition - Blu-ray Forum

When watching a movie with my PS3 how do I see what definition my PS3 is showing the movie in. I.E. 1080p, 720p, 1080i. I'm using the dualshock as my blu-ray remote so during the movie what do I need to press to get this information? Thanks in advance for your help.

the ps3 will; not display that info...you need to press the info button on your tv remote. however if you press select on the ps3 remote it will display the various but rates of the audio etc

This is one feature that the PS3 lacks, in my opinion. But, it's not a huge deal because it's simple to find out by using your TV's remote.

my panasonic has a "info" button that will display each channel or inputs definition
