What should i buy? I already own ratatouille and I instantly fell in love with the PQ. I love the way it actually seems 3rd dimentional oppose to dvd quality where it seems flat. I've seen both those movies and I like both but unfortunately i only have money for one. Got these questions>
People who own both those movies: which is the better eye treat? and.. Which storeyline is better in your opinion? |

In Answer to your question i do have both ... But animated movies are like Lays Chips you can't have just one. But to avoid persecution i will say Cars. Although i love both and would never find myself asking the question of which animated movie to buy i would just get both. |

Well they are kinda different, but they are both visually stunning. You are going to get alot of metallic surfaces in Cars, and different furs and feathers in Kung Fu Panda. I was in the same situation (I have seen Cars on Blu) and I went for the one I havn't seen which was Kung Fu, and I wasn't dissapointed. But I highly doubt you will be dissapointed in either one of these selections.

I personally liked Kung Fu Panda better. The pq on that movie is amazing! But Cars pq is nothing to sneeze at either, but i think Kung Fu Panda trumps it, even if it's by a small margin. And i own both movies, and have 2 young boys, so i've watched the movies...alot!

I am watching Kung Fu Panda right now with my daughter, but at the end of the day I would give the eye candy award to Cars; you just can't go wrong with PIXAR (Panda has fantastic animation, and it is like splitting hairs on which one is "better" - they are just different wrt subject matter, fur vs. shinny cars). As for the story, that is far too subjective for me to make a decision for you - besides you have seen both. Good luck.

![]() However if it was between Kung Fu and Cars, I would say Kung Fu 110 %. I really didn't care for Cars. PLus Kung Fu Panda is a fun and entertaining movie that kids and adults will both love. |

I still say Cars. Simply because of the eyes in the windshield. That was the way the older "car" cartoons were done and they brought it back big time... so CARS all the way. But of course when you get the chance pick up Kung Fu Panda you won't be disappointed

I think Kung Fu Panda, Jack Black over Owen Wilson, and Kung Fu over Racing. It actually took me a while to see Cars as it didn't initialy grab my attention, I wanted to see Kung Fu Panda right away. Have to add though Wall-E is the shiznit.

Yeah but it's not just Jack Black ... i feel the secondary/supporting class is better in CARS... I'd rather have Paul Newmen than Dustin Hoffman anyday

I know it wasn't an option but when I was watching Wall E, I just felt like I was watching a quality old-time style story with a great twist on a love story, AFI top 100 something. Parts of the movie just felt instantly iconic, I don't know...needless to say, five-star pq/aq.

Easy choice, Cars all the way. PQ better in my opinion even though I know some people might differ but storywise Cars is miles away from the Panda.
I own both and the first time I watched Kung Fu Panda did not care for the characters, the action was just ok and the plot was way too predictable, nor even my son which is 2 1/2 years old has watch it again. |
