So I've heard on and off rumors that Paul wanted to bring Pee Wee back eventually. Well, after changing the show around from the Henry Fonda Theater he has now moved the show to Club Nokia in Los Angeles for early 2010!!!

This is AMAZING. I loved Pee Wee growing up and think its finally time for it to come back. I know everyone always jokes around with what happened to him with the arrest and all but he did create a great character in Pee Wee.

I'm really excited!

I thought it was moved from the Music Box to Club Nokia?

I wanted to go, but tickets were fairly expensive, and I'd have to find a way out to LA. Hopefully he does something to please his fans... either take it on tour like he did with his original The Pee-wee Herman Show, or put it out on DVD (which he also did with the original).

Yeah my bad the Music Box was the original venue.

I heard in an interview that the reason he decided to do the show was to generate some buzz in hopes of finally securing a deal for a new movie. I know he's been trying to get a Playhouse-themed movie made, but apparently is having trouble getting someone to finance it.

So hopefully that plan works. I want the new movie!

I heard rumors of two different scripts that he had. One would be another one that would be completely Pee Wee themed. The other would be darker and show what happened to Pee Wee when he fell out of the spotlight.
