Can we get some Chinese subtitles added to movies? - Blu-ray Forum

I have about 10 BD movies, purchased through Amazon and only one has Chinese subtitles (Layer Cake). We are region A in Taiwan, so it is frustrating to find only the usual European languages subtitled. My wife would like to be able to watch BD and she prefers her Chinese subtitles as she is still learning spoken English.

A lot of it probably hinges on whether the company owns the film in Chinese territories

Often the US studios don't own them there

Do you have access to Netflix?

Much of their original programming has traditional chinese subs

I just watched the first episode of Iron Fist on Netflix ant has both traditional and simplified Chinese subs!
