franklinpross Senior Member Member since:Oct 2008 Location:not from here Blu-ray reviews: 3	I Don't understand something about BR transfers - I finally got to watch my whole Sweeney Todd BR disc. With just a little NR the thing looks fine. I even gave in and lowered My XBR brightness to 38 and the PQ is even more stunning. Anyway, some scenes are sharp, detailed and punchy. A total joy to watch. Other scenes however are laden with snow and other noise. After the noisy scenes end, the PQ is again stunning. What is actually happening here? Is it the transfer? Is it a Chinese counterfeit? Am I the only one? Why can't DREAMWORKS make an 100% perfect BR movie? Last edited by franklinpross; 11-29-2008 at 05:23 PM.
