Default Bluray-R DVD Playback
I can play some home made discs but not others. (Sony BD SD250)

From what I've been able to find out on line,this seems to be a firmware issue.

Information on line is a bit confusing.One site tells me a can obtain the updated firmware from Sony who will send me a free copy. (unless I have a blu-ray burner which I don't)


So,can I update my player? How does one install the new firmware

OR seeing as some -R disc will play and not others, is there another problem and/or another solution? (assuming there is a solution)
