Default Decode Question

I just bought me a pioneer Elite VSX-91TXH It sounds great. I have My bd-35 going to it via HDMI and the avr to my plasma. True Hd and DTS-HD i cant get it to say it on the avr it stays DD. I got it to show DTS HD Master on "Legends Live at Montruex" but i got nothing out of my Sub sounded great but no sub. I am shure it is just a setting. Any help?

I would think you recevier has some kind of auto detect feature so it knows what format you pushing down to it, try making sure of 2 things, one in the setup menu of your bd-35 in the audio settings you go under "digital audio output" you have it set to bitstream and the secondary audio output is set to "off", and two that you have selected the correct audio format for play from the disc itself. Not all discs automatically play the hd audio, some you have to select it.

Try connecting the subwoofer from the preout.
