I see that there releasing The Good The Bad & The Ugly on Blu,why not release the complete Dollars Trilogy(like they did with the Dirty Harry films),i know for a fact that they all were recently restored for the incredible Leone DVD set,the did they same exact thing in 1998 when they released the first generation DVD's.actually A Few Dollar More and The Good..were released before the A Fistful in 1999.,MGM/Fox needs to stop playing these games with us consumers,just like they do with the Bond titles. Warner seems to do the same thing,still no Josey Wales,Any Which Way You Can,Bood Work,True Crime,etc on Blu!!! Hang em High from MGM would also be nice! No releases ever offer a commentary by Eastwood,hmm I'm sure he would do one. Get me wrong,I'm glad that The Dirty Harry films,The Gauntlet,Space Cowboys,Unforgiven,Flags and Iwo Jima,are Blu,but fans would like more!

the extra section eastwood bd's are just tragic.

If wb or other studios wanted they could have all the extras if they would do some more more on them....

But looks like they just dumps it out there, but happy they release eastwood films on bd at all.

Hope they also can give os someother eastwood classics like:

kellys heros,
where eagles dare,
etc.

Hey, there is a very easy solution to this. Just use this site intelligently and wait for a review for the whole set that gives both the disc quality and extras an excellent rating. Don't bite for the first garbage that is rushed out!

at least Warner put Every Which Way But Loose, The Gauntlet and Pale Rider out with Dolby TrueHD audio. There are several other catalog titles (including all the other eastwood titles available) that have only regular Dolby 5.1.

it's funny how most Eastwood titles are given barebones releases with so little extras.... most of the dvd releases were the same way. There's soooooo much that could be done with new retro-documentaries as well
as remasters for so many titles..

I loved the DIRTY HARRY set and I was very pleased with how good THE GAUNTLET looked (after the atrocious dvd transfer) but Warners could certaintly do a lot more for the fans...

I'm actually a bigger fan of In the Line of Fire than the spaghetti westerns or the dirty harry films. But it's all good, as the kids say. Actually my favorite is Unforgiven.
