I can see why amazon dropped their price matching policy... - Blu-ray Forum

So they can put the order in "preparing for shipping" mode, look at what I ordered, and then drop some of the prices the next day even before the order has shipped...

<insert the form letter everyone's gotten lately here about no refunds, you're **** out of luck>

I thought it was bad enough the prices dropping like the stock market on things I'd bought a few days, or a week (or even a month or two) ago, but while the order is being filled and shipped and you're instantly pretty much screwed out of 4 bucks?

dropping this policy angered so many people, not to mention that already most of their sales post-format war haven't been that good (occasionally they will have some good ones). one would think that in order to get people to buy more bluray and less dvd the great sales would still continue, but guess not.

I dont agree with your statement, I dont do many pre-ordered from amazon but I did order Wanted SteelBook from Amazon.uk and they refunded my a measly
£0.27..... I wasnt concerned over that but they did it without asking

I got that refund 2 days after it shipped
