Default Best investment i've ever made for my HT!!!

Took me about a good hour to run the wire and install these bass shakers. Time well spent! These things suprised the crap out of me. At some scene, i found myself jump out or hold on to the chair, the experience is priceless. I could have swore i was in the movie!.

I still haven't tell my gf yet, lol she was like "did you do something to your subwoofer?"

After 15 mins of watching movie, i have notice the downside of these babies. At some scenes of Transformer, the bass shaker push most of the garbage from underneath the couch out making me get up and clean the mess.

You should get the PFmod, it's right here, it'll block midrange and trebel. A few thing i learn from AVS forum

Nice....I've had these for about a year now and have been happy ever since. I am using a subwoofer amp with a 50hz FMOD, I couldn't get rid of the hum noise (ground loop?) from my main subwoofer when I used a 2nd reciever.

i ran the wire from the ceiling and hide it inside the accoustic wall next to the seat and from there is just underneath the seat. =) i hate to see wires

Good Thread Yellow Blanket.....

Ive been thinking of getting these myself, due to me loving the bass shaking effect.

How much did you end up paying for these each?
I didnt know they were so cheap... I found them for 40 bucks here.
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=299-028

I own a 805.... Whats the best way of running these if I got 3 of them myself? Just get another reciever?

I always thought this upgrade was expensive considering I kept pricing butt Kickers and not these. Is there a major difference?

Really nice!

Another thing to add to the list of things to consider for the future...

I'm "considering" getting a couple of these, but I was thinking of a more unconventional mounting..... here's my idea, let me know if you think it'd work, or even be worth it.......

I want to mount them on the under-side of my riser, where the viewer's feet would be....

I've checked out butt-kickers at my local A/V store, and wasn't really that impressed (not really, I guess more accurately, I didn't see it as something that added a lot of value for me personally) but for $100 or so (I have MULTIPLE AVRs I could pick from ) I think setting up a couple of these is at least worth a shot for the small added benefit it may give.

Anyone think this setup would work?

They need an amp to run, and need something to decode the LFE signal.

Yes somebody please elaborate more about how to set them up. All the raving reviews have piqued my interest. I'm using a Yamaha 5.1 receiver with a Klipsch quintet and a Klipsch powered subwoofer. I would want to install them under a sectional sofa.

Ah, that leaves me out - If I'm going to buy bass shakers and another receiver, I may as well get it over with and get the a2-300 (yeah, yeah Driver, I know - "Just Do It")
