Silent Hill - European? - Blu-ray Forum

I read some bad things about the quality of the US SILENT HILL Blu-Ray so I just wondered if the European release that has just come out, is the same encode? Comments people?

The german release uses VC-1 Codec whereas The US Version is in mpeg-2.
Both are region free

I own the german version, the picture is far from perfectm but stil delivers good PQ. In general it is considered a good release.

Yeah, the German release is pretty top notch. I sold it to a good friend and bought UK version, which isn't as sharp PQ wise.
