Default Motorstorm : PR, save game issue with backup

So, I installed a new 320GB HDD and had done a full backup of my 60GB, and copied the save game files just in case. The MS:PR files would not allow me to copy them manually, and the backup function didn't get them either!! What is up with that? Anyone else have the same issue or know a way around it, or do I have to start over?

I recently upgraded the hard drive in my main PS3 and thought that worked fine but I'll double-check. I could have just checked to make sure the trophies were saved. I'm sure they were (as well as the progress it reports) but I don't remember if I checked to see if the events I had completed still showed up.

All my MS:PR stuff is gone including my trophies. I only had a couple, but they only trophies showing after the resync are Resistance 2 and LBP.

Did you sync your trophies with the PSN between getting the M:PR trophies and changing HDD's?

I did. I tossed the game in and it had retained my info. Not sure WHERE, but it did. once I finished a race my trophies (all 3 of them) reappeared. Looks like it was a false alarm, but still very odd the way it worked.

Ah yes, you're right. I forgot about that part of it. It did work that way for me as well in regards to the trophies. My trophy list was blank but under my username they still showed up (the number of them and the little icons). The trophy list itself didn't get re-populated until I played each game again. So, I spent an hour or so putting each game in, starting it and then ending it just to get the list under the trophy icon back. Sorry about that. I forgot all about that, surprisingly, since I panicked a little when that happened.

Anyway, glad you didn't lose anything.
