Default Panasonic PX77U

Ok, so I have a Panasonic Plasma PX77U, it's last years model. I have the 42" version. I heard someone talking about the Anti-Glare Feature on it is awful and degrades the PQ? Is this true, I have this odd sensation and mildy OCD, that I'm hesitant to by Blu's on something that is not, "Amazing". What would you do if you were in my case? BTW The Plasma is 720p.
