Default Break-In with PS3?

I heard that you can break-in with using the PS3 and and some images you transfer over, but how exactly does that work?

Set your ps3 to play the images as a looping slideshow. Im just using my TVs built in SD card slot so I dont have to leave my ps3 on.

I currently run my break-in DVD on PS2. Since my receiver supports multiple video outputs I can conveniently switch to this channel if I don't watch TV, but will it loop automatically so I run it 27/7?

The break-in DVD can be downloaded here:

It automatically loops. Just put the Panny in the cinema picture mode. Nice TV BTW.

When Plasma TV's are new the phosphors are brighter and may contribute to an increased risk of burn in during this early stage of a plasmas life. Which is why some people recommend to break them in through a series of different color (fullscreen) slideshow to begin to age the phosphors.

The best way to use your PS3 to break-in your plasma is with the music player. Load some songs onto the PS3's HDD. Pick a song to play. Hit Triangle to bring up the menu and put your playback on shuffle and loop. If necessary, hit Square to change the music visualizer to the original mode (the entire screen is filled with colour that changes hues/shape according to the beat of the music). Hit Select twice and make sure that the album icon and song name disappear from the screen. Turn off/down the sound. Walk away. Let play for 100-200 hours.

This is what I did.
