Okay I'm at home for break from College and I brought my PS3 back and for some odd reason it keeps saying my wireless internet doesn't work yet I can use my laptop using the wireless internet fine with no problems. I've gone through the process making sure everything is right with passwords and everything yet it keeps failing when doing the internet tests any suggestions?

reset all your internet settings in the PS3 your router may have different IP than the uni's router.
if that doesn't work (assuming the IP is correct), manually set a different DNS to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. if that doesn't work reset the modem, router and ensure that you aren't locked on to the same IP as something else already in hte network. ie. sharing the last number of the router's IP. IF that doesn't work, clean it w/ an alcohol dipped q-tip, blow on the cartridge and click it down 3 times before you press the power button... |
