Default Logitech Squeezebox?

Hope I put this in the right place as it isn't exactly portable but I didn't see anywhere else it really fit.

Does anybody have one?
Are they a good functional unit?
Is there any other similar items that do what it does?

I've found just the base unit at logitech's web site for $135 and am thinking of getting it to add internet capability to my receiver. I don't think I'll need the remote as my Harmony 880 should control it just fine but I am going to check with logitech.

Greetings,
I have been using a SB3 for over a year now and love it. I run coax to my Onkyo 885p and the sound is pretty good. All of my music is copied via EAC in 16/44 wav files. It takes more space this way but i prefer it.

Are you planning on running wireless then using the port to bridge it to your receiver?

The harmony 880 will control the SB..I use one myself.

Logitech's tech support said that the Harmony 880 would not control it, yet the 880 shows that it does on their web site and you have just confirmed that. Don't you just love it when tech support doesn't have the information correct? Will it allow playing of MP3's that have been borrowed from a friend (if you know what I mean>non DRM?) to be passed through to the receiver?
