Hi,
i have just bought a new Hd Tv and a new blu-Ray player but my receiver doesn't have hdmi so my question is will i still get sound out of my receiver but not in true Dolby Hd and Dts-Hd Master. My Receiver has Dolby Digital ex - Dts es Monnie: ![]() |

Monnie to answer your question: Yes. If you use optical cable youll get regular dd and dts 5.1 but not dd true hd nor dts master. You can exchabge your bdp for somthing that internally decodes these lossless codecs. Then you can get multichannel cables to connect the bdp to receiver
