Default Onkyo S-HT3100

FYI:

I purchased this in Sept 2008 and am very happy with it. Good system for a good price. Any questions about it, just ask. Thanks

I have it as well. Love it. Beats the crap out of TV speakers.

How much did you guys get it for? I know HTiB systems are frowned upon but I live in a studio with my gf, so I figure a decent one with a good reputation might be in the works soon. I don't need the full immersion experience with giant centers on spikes just yet until I move back to Texas where I might be able to actually afford some real estate. Plus, I travel during the week, and I don't want to bother the neighbors TOO much, so a reputed brand like Onkyo might be worth it.
