The article presents that in a fashion that suggests that it's virtually guaranteed that Intel is on board as a BD supporter come mid 2008 or so.

That's good news if that's the case.

Yes thats true but to offer support you need to have join the organization. In were Intel is not part of Blu-Ray but yes on HD-DVD.
