Default S550 problem
Hey guys I recenlty was setting up a S550 for my father. He has a Sony KDF60WF655 60" tv. It has only 1 HDMI port with a radio shack 3 input HDMI switch. He has a Direc TV HD receiver hooked to one input of the switch and the blueray player the other. When using the HDMI output of the player the unit will power up go the the player menu and the screen will go black. It only shows the startup screen . It acts like it doesn't support the HDMI jack on the TV. I even hooked it up directly to the tv's HDMI jack thinking it was the switch. Switched resolutions in the video menu even and still no luck. So I have it running of the component cables currently. Do you think the tv is just to old to support the player? And yes I have the 1080 24p setting off.
