Default bd-p1500?

I got the sammy bd-p1500 for xmas and have a bit of a problem. It will not stay connected to the internet. When I pop in a disk it says theee is no bd live in my area. I did all the firmware updates and still boots me off of bd live when I put in a disk. I also Have a PS3 and it works fine. When I first turn it on it connects and when I put in a disk it disconnects. Anyone else run into this porblem and how do you fix it?

Do you have a USB thumb drive (one gig or larger) attached? Also, what firmware version are you on (the latest is 2.1)?
