Default Blu-ray Batman Collection

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Blu-r...-Blu-ray/7551/

I honestly don't think that this is coming out next week. There's no pre-order, no reviews, not even any pictures of it. Any chance that this was a bogus story/release?

What is this even supposed to be? There's already a collection with the first 4 movies. Is it supposed to be BB + TDK, or some of the animated films, or what?

edit: oh

Warner Bros. The folks over at The World's Finest have recently learned that Warner Home Video will release the 'Blu-ray Batman Collection' exclusively for Blu-ray on November 3rd. The box set will feature Blu-ray copies of 'Batman Begins', 'The Dark Knight', and 'Batman: Gotham Knight' in a new cardboard slipcase.

The discs will be identical to the existing releases, meaning no change in technical specs or special features.

The titles are all readily available individually, and pretty cheap. No big loss, since all's that's new is a box to hold them all.

You're better off just getting Batman Begins and the Dark Knight separately. Gotham Nights was a lousy experiment. This is the worst of all of the DC animated movies that have been released within the last few years. Stick to the Nolan movies.

I wouldn't go that far at all. Gotham Knight is a mixed bag to be sure, but some of the shorts are excellent and make it well worth picking up on the cheap if you're a Batman fan.

Gotham Knight was done by anime companies for the animation and it's not just 1 but like 3-4 different anime companies helped do the animation in Gotham Knight kind of like Animatrix how Animatrix is not done by just 1 anime animation company but several.

I have no idea if it's still coming out, but I wouldn't expect any reviews since it's just a repackaged set of existing releases.

Agreed. Imo, Superman: Doomsday and Superman-Batman: Public Enemies vie for last place. Plus, I don't really think of GK as related to the Nolan films as they marketed it as. Definitely "experimental", to be sure tho'.

I saw it today at HMV (Oshawa, Canada) for $49.99.

It is exactly what has been described - the three releases packaged in a boxset case. Not just a slipcover, since there's an interior cover inside so you can't see the spines of the three cases.

Well, it fills in nicely between Begins and Dark Knight that's for sure.
