Upgrade 1080i to 1080p - Blu-ray Forum

Is it possible to upgrade my TV from 1080i to 1080p? TV= LG 32LP1D http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/LG_Electronics-32LP1D.htm

By using a component of some sort? and is there even a noticable difference between 1080i and 1080p?

The maximum resolution of your television is 1080i, So "no" and as far as noticeable difference, there is 'some' difference, but I doubt you'd notice it at a 5-6 foot viewing distance (for that size television)

I'd stick with what you have, until you're ready to go bigger
