Brideshead Revisited on Blu... aspect ratio? - Blu-ray Forum

I have already heard of a few horror stories about 1.33:1 TV series showing up on blu-ray cropped to 1.78:1. So I just have to ask... given the 1.33:1 16mm source... is the forthcoming Blu-ray of Brideshead preserving the native 4x3 frame?

I know it's not officially released until January, but figured someone might have the info based on a screener or conversation with the disc producers.

Love my UK version of Pride & Prejudice on Blu. Can't wait to add Brideshead!!

I believe the Brideshead Revisited Blu-ray being released in the UK is the 2008 film version, which I prefer (but haven't seen the TV miniseries) -- and it has now been pushed back until March. My question is whether this is region-free, which I hope because there is no current plan to release a BD in the US.
