Hey forum! My friend has a Sony KF-60XBR800 TV she purchased in 2003. I looked at the specs on Sony's site and they say it has HD Component & DVI-HDTV connections.
She just purchased a blu-ray player - I'm assuming the DVI connect is the way to go to keep it digital, but will that work with modern Profile 2.0 HDMI players? Thanks for any assistance!!! |

My HDTV connects using DVI... She will need a HDMI to DVI connector or cable. Everything should work with the different profiles. Only difference will be she will not get sound, in order to get sound the blu ray player will need to be hooked into a receiver. DVI only carries video and not sound.
