Yamaha AVR 463 or Sony STR 720? - Blu-ray Forum

Which one should I get?
The Yamaha AVR 463 or the Sony STR 720?

They will be used for handling PCM Input from a Blu Ray Player via HDMI.

They are both capable of doing that.

I get them both for about the same price!

I would go with the Sony, only because the Yamaha is only a 5.1. IDK if you have an eight channel set-up or not, but this would allow you to expand later if you wanted to.

I went with the Sony. I sold it to him for 239€. The regular price would have been 349€ but another company had it for that price so I just took that one and entered it. Since our company provided best price guarantee.!
