Ok im not talking about the movie with that an overrated love story.
Im talking about the kung fu flick where the chic can fight like a dude. She is a beast is the preview. Just wondering if anyone saw it. Was it good/garbage. I dont want to give Block buster any more money than i have to

personal opinion? sort of like an homage to the genre, without Qtarantino in the picture. not bad at all, considering its a different storyline, and some great fight scenes. worth the rental in my book. purchase? unless you really like ong bak or any of the thai movies out there, id pass.

saw it and didn't like it at all, she pretty much looked like a dude in many shots.

I saw it and loved it. If you like Ong-bak and The Protector then you will probably love it.

I thought it was really good. solid sound fx for the hits and it had that perfect B movie feel. Storyline was original. She was omg actually doing the fight scenes. and sometimes not having Tarantino around is a good thing. (see Deathproof).
If you're a fan of Shaw Bros. movies, then you'd most likely like it.
but netflix it just in case.

What you need to see is The Chaser from Korea !! WOW !!!

Great movie with some insane crazy fight scenes. Definitely worth the rental

while watching this the best one that comes to mind is the ice factory scene. that was my favorite. in regards to the finale, well.. in my opinion it was a tad too long, retaining the action too much in my book. well, half the finale was great. oh! the butcher scene too!

all in all, worth the rental.

and no, its not like kung fu hustle. hk films are different in both style and action, this is thailand based. more similar to ong bak of course.
