Default Survival Horror "They"

So these days we talk about the soon coming Silent Hill 5, Project Origin or even Dead Space but there is another very promising Survival Horror game which does not seem to have all the attention it probably deserves.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/24459.html

So what do you guys think of "They" ? plan to get it upon release ? I certainly do

And the sites officially call it FPS. so it seems there isn't just one definition for today games. But to me it is a survival horror as your character has to survive the onslaught of horrible creatures (They). Anyways what do you think of the game regardless of it's classification ?

For a second I thought someone actually was making a post about that horror movie called THEY. Thought it might have been made into a game now. Guess not, even thou the part in the trailer talking about how they couldn't be seen and such kind of ties in with the movie. Ahh not really. The game looked interesting minus the narrator in the commercial. This is nothing I would rush out to get. Maybe if the price was right.

Nobody else is waiting for this game or at the very least is getting curious about it ?

I hope they will make a playable demo at the TGS and that some extra videos will find their way to the internet

Interesting.

The creatures remind me of the ones from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

I don't see myself losing any sleep over it's release, but I'll have to keep an eye on it!

I had not heard about this game until now and to be honest, it does seem interesting. I, too, had initially assumed that it might be based on the Wes Craven movie, They, and that was what caught my attention. Even though the latter does not seem to be the case, it still looks promising. I'm looking forward to learning more. Thanks for posting about it.

Survival Horror is dead. RE4 is to blame for that.

Glad my post brought the game's existence to your knowledge and hopefully to other's too.

I beg to differ. The soon coming Silent Hill 5, Dead Space and of course "They" make me disagree with you

Survival Horror = survival with limited firepower, little ammo supplies adding to the fear of dying.

These games are becoming more action orientated with ammo-aplenty.

It's FPS... I'll pass. I wish Sony would get back to having good games instead of trying to be a suped-up 360.

I agree. It definitely should have had zombies not those infested... but the buying system from the merchant was a definite plus! That was the best part about the game. well, that and not having to find ink ribbons to save.

+1

RE4 was really a good games, but not a good survival horror. I'm currently replaying RE from the beginning (I've just finished RE: Nemesis) and the atmosphere is awsome in those games.
