It's about time that article was run. Dateline needs to run the same news article in the US. And why haven't A/V magazines run this sort of thing before?

Oh, right, advertising money. They don't want to bite the hand that feeds them.

Best thing that we can do is guide people that we know through this whole HDTV, Hi Def world and hope they pass on some of the knowledge they get from us along. Case in point a friend of mine was buying a PS3 from best buy for his new TV and the salesman was trying to get him to buy a 150 dollar Monster HDMI cable. He calls me while he's at the store and I tell him to put that damn thing down and we'll order him one online and save him 138 bucks.

Absolutely great and informative video. Customers have every right to feel good about their choice of products, whether they spend exhorbitantly, or frugally. I have a Philips HDMI cable I bought from Wal Mart when I got my TV. It was $28. I'm almost certainly going to hit Monoprice and pick up additional cables when I upgrade receivers.

Thank you for sharing it.

Did you see that they laid the TV on its side when they put it in the car. Highly probable cracked screen.
