I have some 14AWG THX certified cable that I am going to hook up to my new Onkyo 9100. The wire is jacketed and it has 4 different wires (red, white, green, black). I was going to "twist" the green/red together for positive and black/white for negative. But then I had a revelation, will actually I am not sure if I have enough wire, so I was thinking since I may run out do I have to put them together or can I just use one wire? i.e. red for positive and white for negative and then on another speaker I can use green for positive and black for negative. Doesn't matter to me which colors I use or on which speakers I use them I was just trying to stretch what I have. Should I use the single wire solution or is that a bad idea? I have pictures if needed.
