I noticed Season 11 has 4 episodes left to air. After the final episode, how long does it take for the Blu-Ray release of the complete season? I am almost done with Season 10 and hope I don't have to wait too long.

How many times can they keep retreading the same story line - one brother dead , dying , possessed or in hell . Would almost be better going back to the old one shot road stories . Crowley's mother story-line was just crap . |

I don't think people love to say it, I think people genuinely think it isn't as great as it used to be. And they keep watching because they love the main character's and there's always a chance they will find something they love in the new seasons. That's why I keep watching.

For me, it went downhill when most of the supporting cast died, especially Bobby. Dean & Sam on their own is kinda boring, them keeping secrets from each others all the time get old. While Castiel is still there, he mostly away doing his own stuff.
Season 6: Boring first half, decent 2nd half. I feel this season had wasted potential. The whole ''Weapons of Heaven'' are scattered on Earth was only used for 1 or 2 episodes. Instead, we are stuck re-visiting previously seen creatures but with their Alpha. Eve was a wasted antagonist. The Campbell were so forgettable. Season 7: Leviathans sucked, they feel like just stronger version of Shapeshifters. Killing Bobby... and mostly ''Monster of the week'' episodes. The whole ''Dean kill Amy'' plot went nowhere and was pointless. I found it weird they never thought of using The Colt when trying to find what can kill them. Season 8: Mostly forgettable. Outside the Trial episodes, I don't remember anything else beside everyone being jerk to Kevin Tran. Season 9: Decent season. Gadreel was interesting. Abandon felt like a threat and finally a female villain that doesn't disappoint (Lilith & Eve). Season 10: Boring season... the main threat is just Dean going in a killing spree. I am like ''Who cares...?'', the scale of the danger is so small compared to every previous season. It also didn't feel like it had a real antagonist until the Styne Family were introduced... near the end of the season. Rowena was annoying and made Crowley look like a loser mommy's boy. Felt like they didn't know what to do with Castiel, so they gave him his Hannah story and Claire story for him to show up. One thing that I found disappointing is that there has been no new monsters since Season 7. After that, I think they only introduced the ''Fat sucking'' monster. I also feel the the series has became more action/comedy and is less creepy compared to Season 1 to 5. I still remember episodes like Bloody Mary & Scarecrow while I hardly remember any after Season 5. S1 to S5, were must see for me and I could watch 4 episodes in a row. S6 to S10, I only watch them during a break and mostly just 2 episodes at a time. I read Season 11 is a step-up from S6-S10. I hope that's true. Last edited by HiryuMK; 10-21-2016 at 07:30 AM. |

Season 11 is easily the best season since the fifth. I hated season 10 the first time it aired but once it released on Blu-ray, I binge watched it and it was much better a second time.
This is what you would call a "safe show". Nothing extremely drastic happens like in The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad. But that being said, it's still a helluva lot of fun to watch. I've come this far, I'll watch any remaining seasons they make. |

I finished Season 11 and I agree, it easily the best season after 5. I agree the finale was underwhelming. I think if they were going to end the series. This would had been the season to do.
I am not sure how they will follow-up. The scale of danger will be nowhere be close to the Darkness and them getting back that special someone. |

actually i think Rick Springfield as the devil last nite was pretty damn good. to me and i'm going by last season since only 2 episodes are shown so far it feels that starting last season the show is back where it should be about Family. i'm curious how Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer will do this season? so for this season has promise and go to tv.com and watch the 1st two episodes in case you missed them and please let me know what you think?
