Default Your favorite Disneys to be on Blu-ray

Yes you heard me, I'm talking way before Pixar, we had the greats like Lion King and Beauty and the beast. Back when I thought 2 disc special editions were the best quality we'd ever get, and now I'm waiting on how sharp and crisp the classic animated features from the 90s can really look like. To be honest the only real Disney classic I'm waiting for (and have ever liked) is Aladdin on Blu-ray. Maybe you side differently?

Aladdin and the Lion King would picked up immediately no thought needed.

Hercules when I found on sale for $20 or so.

Beauty and the Beast would also be picked up day one since my GF loves that movie.

Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Hercules, Mulan, and Lilo & Stitch.

Others I'd probably just rent to be blown away by old school Disney animation

The Lion King hands down is the best movie ever made by Walt Disney!

My answer is pretty simple: I'd buy them all.

But for the ones I'm most interested in, those would be:

Beauty and the Beast
The Little Mermaid
Snow White
Cinderella
Aladdin
Lady and the Tramp
The Hunchback of Notre Dame

It was only a few months ago that I saw Hunchback for the first time and I must say it is an overlooked masterpiece.

Ones that I really don't care if/when they arrive:

Lilo and Stitch
Hercules
The Emperor's New Groove
Treasure Planet
The Lion King

I've never quite understood all the love that the Lion King gets around here. Maybe people are too young to have seen Bambi. All the Lion King was to me was Bambi in Africa. Or maybe there was just one too many Elton John song for my taste.

I'm going on the assumption that this includes other Disney films as well. Here are some that I would like to get.

Tron
The Rocketeer
Lion King
Fantasia
Fantasia 2000
Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
The Three Musketeers
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
The Little Mermaid
