Default Problem with PowerDVD 9

Hi All,

I recently purchased a Canon HG20 camcorder, which I have to say makes very nice recordings. Supplied with the camera is some software called ImageMixer 3, to download videos from camera and audthor them.

I only want to make some simple type of Blu-Ray disc, no fancy menus and stuff so the ImageMixer software is actually quite good for me.

In this software I made a movie by joining scenes to eachother, 8 scenes that total a 25 minutes movie. Then I made like 8 of these kind of movies and want to burn them to Blu-Ray.

This weekend I burned the first disc, and then realized I don't have a PC based Blu-Ray player. Then I downloaded the free trial version of PowerDVD 9 and tried out my first disc.

It all seemed to work, however, on some occasions when the player starts the next scene in a movie, PowerDVD keeps on repeating like a 2 second part of the previous scene while the sound continues to the next scene.
This will not return to normal play no more, I need to stop the movie and then restart from the beginning. It always happens at the exact same scenes, some scenes have no problem, others always have this problem.

When I play the movie in the ImageMixer 3 Player, it plays just fine, no hickups at all. Also, when I press the "Next Scene" button just before the PowerDVD player finishes the previous scene, it works just fine.
This makes me wonder if there is something wrong with PowerDVD 9? Does anybody have had a similar problem?

Best regards,
Michel

Ok If you don't have a Blu ray burner or player then you need to make a
AVCHD disk.

Try this program in demo mode first Ulead VideoStudio pro X2

http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...1&tabview=tab0

Load your file into it and then click on the share tab and burn yourself a
AVCHD disk.
The AVCHD disc will be in HD and will playback with PowerDVD
on a standard DVD PC drive, but not on a stand alone DVD player you will need a Blu ray player to play it back because it will be in HD.
