Best Video Game Voice Acting? - Blu-ray Forum

Uncharted 2 has some of the best voice acting i have ever heard playing through so far. Uncharted: DF was no slouch either. just wanted to know what games come to mind when thinking of the best voice acting. considering everything(quality, lips syncing, script, ect). either English or Jap. mine are:

1. Uncharted 2(so far)
2. MGS4
3. Final Fantasy X
4. Uncharted

i have to think of some more

Well, in Uncharted 2, the actors weren't just giving vocal performances. They were actually acting (albeit in mo-cap costumes). So maybe for this to be fair we should distinguish mo-cap performances from stictly vocal ones.

Alot of games these days got good voice acting. Just not alot of them got good story to go with it.

My top of the list right now, Uncharted 2.

FF12 voice acting was pretty decent as well, for me.

Not a PS3 game, but GUN (PS2) had amazing voice acting with known actors: Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, Kris Kristofferson, Tom Skerritt, Lance Henrikson, to name a few, and even Nolan North (i.e. Nathan Drake) doing some additional voices. A great game made better by the voice actors!

I like the voice acting in other games, but Brutal Legend's cast is outstanding (and they're helped by a tremendously well composed script).

Mark Hamill as the Joker in Arkham Asylum is some of the best I've ever heard, God I love that game!

You better believe it does. It's absolutely phenomenal. Andy Serkis does an amazing job as Bohan. The voice acting is excellent all around though.

I really can't add much more to what's already been said I suppose:

Brutal Legend
Uncharted 1&2

Heavy Rain (the trailers should be proof enough)
Dead Rising (surprisingly)

God of War has very good voice acting (even if I can't stand Kratos anymore, he does sound cool)
