I've used etronics before, and they had great customer service. You should be aware that Etronics carries the HTR-6160, which is identical to the RX-V663, for just $332. Their "special" price for the RX-V663 is $379.
I've been using Yamaha receivers for years, and I've heard it first-hand from Yamaha as well. The only difference between the equivalent models in the HTR and RX-V lines is the font color on the receiver face. The RX-V series uses white lettering, while the HTR series uses gold throughout. Both model lines were originally created to manage two forms of distribution. The RX-V line was sold through specialty hi-fi shops, while the HTR line was sold through big box electronics stores and online retailers. Over the years, those lines have blurred, but Yamaha still carries both model names forward. If I were you, I'd jump on the HTR-6160. It's a great deal at $332. |

I would cancel and go with another site like 6th avenue. I checked the Yamaha site and etronics is not an authorized Yamaha reseller. Here is your list of resellers...............

No problem...it's always a good thing to check the home site of the product you're looking to buy to see who is an authorized dealer. It may save you a headache down the road. Not saying you wouldn't have luck with etronics but you do want to be protected just in case. I would also call and cancel your order. That way they can't ignore that you want your order cancelled.
