Default Online Film Critics Vote "Wall-E" Best Picture of 2008

Andrew Stanton’s “WALL-E” led the Online Film Critics’ Society’s annual awards, taking awards for best picture, best animated feature and best original screenplay.
Its three award tally was beaten only by Tomas Alfredson’s “Let The Right One In,” which took four awards (foreign film, adapted screenplay, breakthrough actor and breakthrough director). Other major winners included best actor Mickey Rourke (“The Wrestler”) and best actress Michelle Williams (“Wendy and Lucy”).

Having seen the movie twice on BD. Wall-e is a visual/audio feast but in no way can I see it as best film.

Best animated film......sure.

As much as I loved Slumdog, I would love to see Wall*E take best picture at the Oscars but I do not think it will happen

I hope that Let The RIght One In gets noms for Oscars too, very upset that it did not get Golden Globe nominated.

I disagree with Wall*E winning best picture, The Wrestler should get the best picture, its a damn good movie.

Wall*E was fantastic and blew my wife and I away at what are expectations were. Can't say enough good things about it and it was a moving movie as well regarding wall*e and eve's relationship.
