Terminator Salvation Blu-ray to Get 30 Min of Deleted Scenes

After receiving any early showing of the upcoming film 'Terminator: Salvation', Steve 'Frosty' Weintraub got to sit down with the film's director to ask him a few questions about the film. One of the noteworthy tidbits he found out was that the future Blu-ray and DVD releases would receive 30-40 minutes of deleted scenes, including an alternate ending.

Since most of you haven't seen the film yet - count me as well - you might want to stop there and wait to watch the interview. But for those of you who fear not the spoiler, click on the source link to learn some of the other deleted scenes on the upcoming disc.LINK

The deleted scenes are cool, but an extended version (in addition to the theatrical) would have been better.

So far we dont know for sure if they are provided as bonus material, or as an extended version.

My fingers are crossed for a directors cut.

I'm hoping they branch stream it so you can choose between theatrical and extended cuts like they did with The Abyss when it came out on DVD.

The new trailer looks really cool, but you'll never know.

To me that depends on if the director thinks they work as part of the film or not.

We'll see if it actually happens. We have heard this before (Incredible Hulk) and it never panned out.

Plus this is McG; I'm sure the Halcyon company will have final say over the Blu-Ray.

We are all speculating about *how* we want the extra footage, and we may not even want it at all. Ha ha.

Actually the Incredible Hulk did have the deleted scenes, although before the blu ray release the distributor indicated it would be a Director's cut with 70 mins inserted. I am hoping also it will be a Director's cut with the added footage inserted to the movie not just deleted scene for the special features.

The Incredible Hulk Blu-Ray still had at least 40 minutes of deleted scenes, which is A LOT

I just hope that they are in HD. The Incredible Hulk release really annoyed me because they were in SD.
