Yamaha 663 dynamic range - Blu-ray Forum

I have a question about my 663. What should my setting be for the dynamic range? I want a normal sound without restrictions.

Here's the options I have.

Min/Auto
STD
Max

I recommend asking in the Yamaha RX-V663 Owners Thread so your question doesn't get lost in the threads. I have mine set to max, but I'd like to know the answer to this question also.

Max is the default on yamaha receivers. Max means no dynamic range compression is applied and you get what the sound mix is supposed to sound like. You want it set to max.
